Trunk or Treat

The New Windsor Presyterian Church at the corner of North 4th Avenue- and Walnut street has invited residents and businesses to utilze their parking lot for Trunk Or Treating from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM on October 31st. Decorate your trunk or a table and join the event! The Church will provide a table for you, if needed. Contact Dee Robb at 309-236-7131 with questions or to reserve a table.
Village Trick or Treat Hours
Begins: 10/31/2025 - 6:00 PM
Ends: 10/31/2025 - 8:00 PM
The village board has designated October 31st, 2025 from 6-8 PM as the hours for door-to-door trick or treating within the village. Residents are asked to leave their porch light on if they wish to participate.
North Henderson Fire Department Pork Chop Dinner

The North Henderson Fire Department is hosting a Pork Chop dinner at the Fire Station in North Henderson, IL on Sunday, November 2nd from 11 AM to 2 PM. Cost is $5 per dinner. Carryouts are available.
Monthly Board Meeting

The New Windsor Vlllage Board will hold their regular monthly meeting beginning at 6 PM at the New Windsor Village Hall, 125 North 3rd Avenue, New Windsor, IL. The public is always welcome.

Community Breakfast

Free Community Breakfast hosted by Calvary Lutheran Church, 121 N Meridian St, New Windsor, IL.
Every 3rd Monday of the month.
Come and enjoy good food and lots of coffee and conversation.
The meal is served in the chruch basement.

Celebrating Our 86th Year!
There are eight rodeo events that provide something for everyone: bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, cowgirl break away roping and the most dangerous of all, bull riding. Not to mention the rodeo clown antics, which the children love, and specialty acts that are sure to thrill the whole family! The New Windsor Rodeo is Sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Held at the Rodeo Grounds on the west edge of New Windsor.

New Windsor Rodeo Street Parade beginning at Walnut Street near the former New Windsor Jr. High School Building to Meridian Street and truning onto Main Street to travel through the business district to North 7th Avenue to the Rodel Grounds.
