Payment Options

The Village of New Windsor offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs. 

Online Payments - NEW

You can now pay your bill online, review your payment and bill history, go paperless, and sign up for autopay! 

Visit: https://newwindsor.secure.munibilling.com to sign up for your online account or pay without creating an account. To sign-up, you will need an access code which you can find on the bottom portion of your bill and your account number which you can find at the top left and bottom right of your bill. To pay without creating an account, you will only need your account number. 

Once you create an account, by navigating the tabs on the left side of your online account, you can set up autopay, view your bill and payment history, sign up for paperless bills, and sign up for autopay. 

To choose paperless billing, click on account and under contact preferences choose the email option. The bills will be sent to the email you signed up with. 

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order please mail your payment with your payment slip to the address listed. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.  Please DO NOT send cash through the mail.  If you wish to pay in cash please see the option listed below to pay at the bank.

Payment Drop-off Locations

Farmers State Bank of Western Illinois, New Windsor branch

You may pay your bill in person at the New Windsor branch of Farmers State Bank of Western Illinois. They accept check, money order or cash. They are open Monday  thru Friday from 8:00 AM to 12;00 Noon and by drive thru only.  They are closed on weekends and all federal banking holidays.  Please be sure to include your payment slip with your bank payment so that the correct account may be credited. You may also choose to drop an envelope containing your payment and your payment slip in the bank's night deposit drop box. If using their night deposit, no cash will be returned; any amount in excess of your billed amount, will be credited to your account and applied to your next bill.

Village Hall Drop Off Box

The Village of New Windsor also has a drop box for water and sewer payments located to the left of the main door to the New Windsor Village Hall at 125 North 3rd Avenue.  Please use the drop box for Water and Sewer payments only.  Any other correspondence or payments for the village should be delivered to the Village Clerk during normal Village Hall office hours whcih are Tuesdays from  4:30 - 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:30 AM to Noon or sent by mail.  All payments dropped into the box should be in the form of a bank draft (check) or money order. If you wish to pay by cash, please pay at the New Windsor branch of Farmers State Bank of Western Illinois as listed above.

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many banks and credit unions offer their customers the ability to pay their bills using an online bill payment service offered on their website or mobile app. Many find such services to be a convenient way to pay their bill as it can all be done from the comfort of their home and they are also saved the cost of postage to mail their payment.  Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please ensure that your payment includes your account number so that the correct account may be credited. Please consult with your financial institution for more information.
